Clinical Solutions Clinical Solutions

Clinical Solutions is the clinical center of ATS. Comprised of highly experienced Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, these specialists are involved in regulatory practices and decision-making for ATS.

The Clinical Solutions team also provides support to all therapists through education, mentorship, supervision, consultation and documentation review.

Mentorship / Supervision The Clinical Solutions team offers the appropriate guidance and supervision for every ATS therapist based on their experience.

For recent graduates, the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and other post-graduate mentorship programs are an extension of their education.

Experienced therapists work with the Clinical Solutions team to identify areas in which they can continue to enhance their skills. Because they are given the time and education needed to thrive as professionals, ATS therapists rise above others in the field.

The Clinical Solutions team also conducts regular internal and external audits to make sure therapists are in compliance with practice guidelines, rules and regulations.

Consultation The highly-trained Clinical Solutions team is also available to provide consultation services for any area of therapy. In general, this includes clinical programs, reimbursement, operations or compliance.

Clients throughout the multi-state area rely on the ATS Clinical Solutions team for assistance because of a reputation for being professional, responsive and extremely practical.


Tamara AlthoffTamara Althoff, MS, CCC-SLP Clinical Speech-Language Pathologist Specialist

Tammy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a Masters degree in Communicative Disorders. She has provided Speech Language Pathology services for all ages in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Tammy is actively involved in both the Minnesota Speech and Hearing Association and American Speech and Hearing Association. She currently serves as the State Medicare Administrative Coordinator in which she represents Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists in the state of Minnesota. Since 2000, Tammy has served as the ATS Clinical Speech-Language Pathology Specialist, providing Clinical oversight to all Speech-Language Pathologists on staff and providing new graduates the support they need to get started in this field.


Pam BrooksPam Brooks, OTR/L Clinical Occupational Therapy Specialist

After several years of working in the business field, Pam chose a career change and graduated from the College of St. Catherine in Occupational Therapy. Pam has worked in the therapy industry for over 20 years and has gathered a wealth of knowledge from working in various settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home care. She is actively involved in Minnesota Occupational Therapy Association and the American Association of Occupational Therapy. Pam has spoken at many professional events throughout her career.

Pam joined ATS in 2009, and provides ongoing clinical support to Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants in her role as Clinical Occupational Therapy Specialist.


Debbie Hanka, PT, GCS, CEEAA Clinical Physical Therapy Specialist

Debbie graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. In 2005, she became a Geriatric Certified Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy and a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults in 2011. She is a member of APTA and is a geriatrics section member and has been active in the MN Chapter as a peer reviewer and Quality Practice Training & Education Co-Chair. Debbie is currently pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Fellowship in Optimal Aging at Regis University.
